Frequently Asked Questions

How do you make  your products ?
All our range is made from scratch rather than, as is often the case, buying in a base product and adding essential oils. This has given more control over the products and allowed them to be tailored to the skin's requirements. This guarantees a higher quality as well as giving  ultimate control over all aspects of product. We make in small batches by hand in a converted chapel in Somerset.

Where do you source your ingredients ?
All our ingredients are sourced from companies who make it their priority to supply the finest quality and most ethical products available. Our main supplier spends a majority of his year travelling the globe in search of the best essential oils and naturally products he can find.

Is there going to be SPF in any of  the products ?
We may introduce SPF in some face creams. Sun protection is achieved by placing a barrier on the skin which is in most make-up bases and we think it is better to just have one layer of this rather than double up. Our face creams are also recommended for night time use when you don't want to wear an SPF.

Is MAKE going to have more products in the future ?
There are several products under trial at the moment including bath oils, cleansers, masks and lip balms. These will be launched over the coming months when we are certain they are the best and most effective they can possibly be.

I live outside of the UK. Can I buy MAKE products ?
Please contact us if you live outside the UK and would like to order so we can inform you of shipping costs.

How long will it take to ship to me ?
We dispatch on Tuesdays and Thursdays with delivery taking about two days. It is however advisable to allow five working days to be on the safe side. For Europe, please allow up to ten working days for delivery.

I like some of the combinations of essential oils but would like them in a different product, is this possible ?
We are very open to feedback and if you do particularly like a blend of oils but would like it in a different product, we may consider adding it to our range. Please do feel free to give us any comments, we would love to hear them.

Are you going to do a men's line?
We are considering launching a men's line later in the year. A children's' line will be introduced next year.
